The Faith Learning Centre: A Vision for the Church
Curriculum of the Emunah learning Centre
The aim of the Emunah learning center is to dwell in the land and to cultivate Emunah. In this respect acting as a man standing in the gap for the land. For Jerusalem is now called Kisei Yahwah. Jeremiah outlines the vision for this generation in his chapters 2- 5. He lays down the basis of the education of Zion and who will be educated there. Yahwah says: For I am a master (baal) to you and I will take you one from a city and two from a family and I will bring you to Zion.” So we see here that a certain group are called out from families and communities to live in Tziyon. This group are taken by Yahwah, the rest of their families and cities are clearly left behind where they are.
(1.0) The Studying Remnant Under Davidic Shepherds
So it is a group which Yahwah is selecting who will come to live in Tziyon inside Jerusalem. These people are taken their for a special purpose: “Then I will give you shepherds after my own heart” The shepherds are teachers and sarim(rulers) or shoftim (judges). However the fact that they are after Yahwah’s heart tell us that these are teachers or leaders after the order of David. David shed innocent blood so that he could not build the House of Yahwah, however he was a man after Yahwah’s heart. In this sense he had a number of wonderful characteristics which are exemplified in his Son Yeshua the Nazarene and his body the Church, especially that part of the Church called Charismatic. The fact that Yahwah is taking one from a city and two from a family explains why it may be only the Spirit Baptised Charismatic believers who will be involved in this educational work.
(1.1) Ephraim the Gentile Church
The Gentile Church who is linked with the “Fullness of the Goyim” by Paul in Romans 11is tied through this phrase directly to Ephraim. Jacob said that Ephraim’ s descendants would become a “Fullness of Goyim”. This phrase is only once more used in the scripture by the Apostle Paul. “For I do not want you, brethren to be uninformed of this secret, lest you be wise in your own estimation, that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Goyim has come in.” So we see Ephrain is directly linked to the Gentile Church. This brings the Church inside the family of Israel, as not just seed of Abraham but seed of Israel, the Israel of Elohim as Paul puts it elsewhere, there is even a hint in Genesis that it is the seed of Joseph.
(1.2) The Remnant from the Church
But the Church is spread all over the earth and numbers more than one billion and will soon number even 6 Billion. So how will all these descendants of Israel fit into the land promised? They won’t and don’t need to. The Church inherits the nations, every city and every family. However Yahwah will only bring two from a family and one from a city to Tziyon. And for what purpose? “Then I will give you shepherds after my own heart” That is he will give the educators who will shepherd in a style similar to David but with out the blood shedding. We know that David was special because of his prophetic psalmody and songs expressing his spontaneous and heart felt love of Yahwah . And so it is the Charismatic Church has been raised up to restore living prophetic psalmody and song to the earth and to Tziyon. These will be the shepherds who will train these persons being taken two from a family and one from a city.
(1.3) What will the training include?
Yahwah says the shepherds will feed Israel on knowledge (daeh) and understanding (binah). This will be Spiritual Knowledge and Understanding, which clearly the Church has most of, since it ha every spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Mashiach Yeshua.
The focus on the physical ark of the covenant will be removed although this was the very heart of the physical temple of Solomon. The ark we know had the mercy seat(throne) or the throne of Yahwah as a cover. Yahwah used to hover between the two Cheruvim and it was called the mercy seat or throne. But in these days the place of the ark of the covenant is taken by Jerusalem and one of its titles will be Kisei Yahwah. Moses used to go to the ark to inquire of or seek Yahwah in the tent of meeting. David set up a tent where he entered and praised in front of the ark all day. This was called the tabernacle (ohel or sukkah) of David. “They brought in the ark of Elohim and placed it inside the tent which David had pitched for it, and they offered burnt offerings and peace offering before Elohim” David then blessed the people in the name of Yahwah. This action was fulfillment of the mitzvah of the Torah. “You shall seek (Yahwah) at the place which Yahwah your Elohim shall choose from all your tribes to establish his name there for his dwelling and there you shall come… there you shall bring your all that I command you : your burnt offerings and your sacrifices, your tithes and the contribution of your hand, and all your choice votive offerings which you will vow to Yahwah. And you shall rejoice before Yahwah your Elohim, you and your sons and daughters, your males and female servants, and the Levite who is with in your gates, since he has no portion or inheritance with you”. It is also mentioned in Exodus “in every place where I cause my name to be remembered, I will come to you and bless you” ( Deu 12,Ex 20)
(1.4) The Levites
So we see that David is fulfilling a mitzvah in establishing the tabernacle and blessing the people in the name of Yahwah. We see then David putting the written Torah into practice with very little addition. After he had generously given everyone, male and female, bread, meat and raisin cakes he appoints the Levites. Here he fulfilled a mitzvah again in Deuteronomy 12 which told the people not to forget the Levites. The Levites were appointed as “ministers before the ark of Yahwah , even to celebrate and to thank and praise Yahwah Elohim of Israel. Asaph and his associates with instruments and Benaiah and Jahaziel the Cohanim blew trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of Elohim”. In this coming revival the whole mitzvah will be fulfilled for Yahwah says the whole family plus slaves will celebrate not just the levites. This is a characteristic of the Charismatic ministry where the whole community, men and women rejoice before Yahwah regularly. So David was pointing to the ministry of his Son in the Church.
(2.0) Changes according to Jeremiah
Jeremiah tells us clearly that in the future there will be changes to the system established by David. (1)Firstly he says the Ark of the Covenant will be completely removed from the scene and the memory of the people. It will not be spoken “The ark of the covenant of Yahwah”, it will not come to mind or be remembered or missed nor will they make a new one. It is clear from this scripture that the ark is not a part of the future of Israel. So even if someone gets up and builds another physical building and calls it a temple, they will not furnish with the ark of the covenant of Yahwah. As I recall Ezekiels temple vision does not mention the ark of the covenant of Yahwah either. So the ark is dispensable. The mitzvah David was fulfilling mentions only the place it doesn’t mention the ark. So Jeremiah’s prophecy brings the future Jerusalem closer to the fulfillment of the written mitzvah. It will clearly be a spiritually minded people who will fulfil this prophecy of Jeremiah and not those interested in a physical temple. This again is confirmation that it will be the Charismatic Church, where there is no Jew and Greek, where Ephraim and Judah come together, who will fulfil these prophetic words of Jeremiah.
(2.1) Secondly Jerusalem itself will take the title Throne of Yahwah. Yahwah used to be seated on the Cheruvim. The Cheruvim were on the mercy seat or cover of the ark. Now Yahwah will be enthroned on Jerusalem. Clearly the wings of the Cheruvim will not long be in a small model as with the ark but will be real as large as Jerusalem. And Jerusalem may well be the city with out walls which Zechariah speaks of. In other words we are moving from the symbolic, ark carrying 10 sayings of the covenant, to reality Jerusalem, living the 10 sayings in their true meaning. The heart of the ark contained the covenant of the 10 Sayings. Will it not be so with the heart of Jerusalem? But not written on tablets of stone but as Paul would say on tablets of the human hearts. The ark was fading away at the time of Moses. It faded away by the time of Jeremiah. It lasted about 874 years. Jeremiah says this physical representation of the throne of Yahwah will disappear forever.
And Paul confirms the temporariness of the physical with the permanence of the spiritual “Who also made us adequate as servants of a new covenant not of the letter, but of the Spirit, for the letter kills but the Spirit gives life” The ark of the covenant contained the tablets of stone which had the letters that kill written on them. In the first case of the production of these letters, 3000 Israelites were killed because they broke this covenant. In the first case of the Spiritual covenant, 3000 were granted eternal life.
What was the difference?
Well we can see it with the three thousand who died. The covenant would not have been written on tablets of stone, by the finger of Yahwah, which the people would read and then attempt to understand and then to obey. But the letters would have been written directly on the heart of these three thousand. Putting inside them a love for Yahwah and a teacher to teach them his ways. This would have meant they would never had made the golden calf and given Yahwah’s glory to a metal cow, the glory of the redemption from Egypt. One month they were singing “Yah is my strength and my song” and not long after, “here are your gods who brought you out of Egypt” pointing to a cow, they made with their own hands in direct rebellion to the voice of Yahwah they heard from the mountain. The ark of the covanant is outside of the man the new throne is inside the men. Paul says the New covenant is a ministry of righteousness and not only remains but gets more and more glorious as we with open face behold the glory of Yahwah. Resurrected people are eternal and have eternal life, physical tablets are temporary and wordfs on them are easily misunderstood.
(2.2) Thirdly All the Goyim will be gathered to Jerusalem for the name of Yahwah. So we see specifically the name of Yahwah will be in use at this point and not the substitute and the substitute of the substitute. So Hashem will be out and Adonai and Elohim will no longer take Yahwahs place but be restored to their proper common noun assignments. The names Yah and Yahwah will be returned to the lips of the people of Israel. Again we see that it has to be the Chrarismatic Church who will do this. The Jewish community have traditions which specifically forbid them to use the name. But the Charismatic love the name of Yahwah. At present they are like babies trying to work out how to say it. But they have the Mashiach and they have the Spirit of truth to lead them into all truth so they will receive revelation of the name and will use it to glorify the Elohim of Israel. At present most Charismatics and Christians use Yahweh as the name and some still use Jehovah. And all Christians and many Jews use the name Yah. This is because of the special command Yahwah has given to his Church Hallelu Yah. It is on the oath of Yah that Yahwah is at war with Amaleq from generation to generation (Exod 17:14).
(2.4) Hallelu Yah
From Shavuoth 2001 0r 6001 a book went out to Jerusalem called Hallelu Yah. Here the pronunciation Yahwah was given instead of Yahweh. This pronunciation goes back to 5th of 6th century BC Babylon, where according to David Weisberg of Hebrew Union College Cincinnatti Ohio, inscriptions have been found in cuneiform. Cuneiform is a vocalised language so it includes vowels in the alphabet. One name was found in the remains of Judean villages, Nadav Yahwah, which Weisberg reads as Gift of God. The Babylonian tradition is the most ancient tradition of the pronunciation of Hebrew which has been preserved, according to Encyclopaedia Judaica article “Hebrew Pronunciation”. The Yemenite tradition has preserved some of the Babylonian pronunciations and is recognised as the oldest living tradition of pronunciation.
(2.5) Restoration of the Ineffable Name
So what will happen is even as the Church gave the Bible chapter and verse and the Jewish community learnt this from the Church, and even as the Church gave the Jewish tradition their first translations of the Tanakh into English and probably many other languages, by virtue of which I am sure many Jews were blessed to be able to read the Bible in a language they understood, so the Church will restore the use of the name of Yahwah and the Jewish community out of the jealousy provoked will restore the name of Yahwah to the lips of her children.
(2.6) Jewish Tradition says the Name will Be Restored
To be sure the Jewish tradition expects the Holy One to restore the name to the world. For they have a tradition which says : “And the Holy One , Blessed be he, will in the future reveal to all the pious in the World to Come the Ineffable Name with which the new heavens and the new earth can be created, so that all of them should be able to create new worlds” (The Messiah Texts p 251, Mid, Alpha Beta diR.Akiba bhM 3:32) So there is a clear expectation for the restoration of the name in the Jewish tradition, along with a very strong faith to use it powerfully for creative purposes. And we know that the Book of Hebrews speaks of those who have tasted of the powers of the World to Come (Heb 6:5).
(2.7) Jewish Tradition teaches Mashiach will be called by the name of the Creator
Indeed the Jewish tradition teaches that Mashiach will be called by the name of the Creator in the World to come also “”In the future to come the Holy One, blessed be He, will seat the Messiah in the supernal Yeshiva (House of Study), and they will call him “The Lord”, just as they call the Creator …And the Messiah will sit in the Yeshiva and all those who walk on earth will come and sit before him to hear a new Torah and new commandments and the deep wisdom which he teaches Israel…And Eliyah of blessed memory will stand before him as translator, and when he teaches, his voice will go from one end of the earth to the other”(ibid pg 256 So we see Yahwah is the name by which Mashiach will be called. As he is today. For the scripture says “Elohim has exalted him and bestowed on him the name which is above every name. That at the name of Yahoshua every knee shall bow of those who are in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Yeshua the Mashiach is Yahwah to the glory of Elohim the Father.(Phil 2) So we see that the Yemenite Midrash (pg 349-50) and the Church agree that the Mashiach shall be called Yahwah, just as the Creator is called.
(2.8) The Role of the Spirit
But we can ask a question, How is it physically possible for all those who walk on earth to come and sit before Messiah to hear the new Torah? And the answer is it is possible because of the Holy Spirit. As Paul says the secret is Messiah in you the hope of glory. The Mashiach has taken of his Spirit and entered into the lives of millions at one time. The Spirit can speak the same thing to all the Church at one time if he so pleases. We are his house of study and he teaches us in the heart. So what the tradition look for the Church is already fulfilling. We have tasted of the powers of the Age to Come as Hebrews puts it.
We now return to the faith learning center which will development some of these ideas.

The Learning Methods of the Prophetic Training School
(1) The key source of the welfare and the blessing and the success of the people of Yahwah is obedience to his voice. It doesn’t matter how much Torah knowledge you have if you do not obey his voice it will not go well with you. The voice is the source and unity of the authority of the Covenant, the Torahs (Moses and Mashiach’s (Is 51), the Prophets the Psalms and, The Gospel of Yeshua the Mashiach, the Glory of Yahwah.
(2) In view of this the key lesson for the New Covenant Prophetic Community is to know the voice of Yahwah and to obey it, with this obedience no principality, power , authority or dominion, in heaven earth or under the earth can overcome the community, for Yahwah said “If you will obey my voice things will be well with you”.
(3) The voice comes to each generation with its peculiar requirement. Yahwah knows the medicine for the wellbeing of each generation. If they spent their whole time disobeying Yahwah then the medicine as in the time of Jeremiah was “Submit to Babylon”. The voice of Yahwah after twenty three years, from the thirteenth year of Josiah to the fourth year of Jehoakim ben Josiah, of rising up early and speaking, saying
“Turn now every one from his evil way and from the evil of your deeds, and dwell on the land which Yahwah has given to you and your fathers for ever and ever and do not go after other elohim to serve them and to bow down to them, and do not provoke me to anger with the work of your hands, and I will do you know harm.”
Saw that the people were not listening to the Covenant advice. This period was the period when the Covenant of Horeb was in effect and the Torah of Moses was having full authority over the people. However the Torah is not just a list of mitzvoth but it was a covenant with consequences for disobedience. When the people showed that they had no intention of “Turning from their evil ways” But every intention of going after other elohim, then Yahwah moves to judgement and the consequences of disobeying the covenant are decreed, as says Yahwah
“Yet you have not listened to me” Declares Yahwah,
in order that you might provoke me to anger with the work of your hands to your own harm.”
Therefore thus says Yahwah Tzevaoth “Because you have not obeyed my sayings, behold I will send and take all the families of the north” declares Yahwah, ‘and I will send to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land, and against its inhabitants, and against all these goyim round about; and I will utterly destroy them, and make them a horror and a hissing and an everlasting desolation…And this wole land shall be a desolation and a horror, and these nations (goyim) shall serve the King of Babylon seventy years”
So we see the consequences of disobeying the voice guarding the covenant is coming under the curse of the covenant, which the voice then begins to pronounce.
“Yahwah will bring you and your king, whom you shall set over you, to a nation, which neither you not your fathers have known and their you shall serve other elohim, wood and stone” (Deu 28:36)
Four years before Yahwah sent out the decree to Nebuchadnezzar terlling him to come Yahwah was still warning the people and hear we can compare how important it was for them to obey voice of Yahwah in his prophets as opposed to any other source of authority, for example the whole written Torah. Buy this we are not seeking to undermine the Torah but to see how does Yahwah see the authority structure in a society where the Torah of Moses is in effect?
What are the priorities of the living Torah as opposed to the dead letter?
This saying of Yahwah came right at the beginning of the reign of Jehoakim, son of Josiah.
Thus says Yahwah “ Stand in the court of Yahwah’s house, and speak to all the cities of Judah, who have come to prostrate (shachaq) in Yahwah’s house, all the sayings that I have commanded you to speak to them. Do not omit a saying. Perhaps they will listen and everyone will turn from his evil way, that I may repent of the calamity which I am planning to do to them because of the evil of their deeds.
And you will say to them ‘Thus says Yahwah, “If you will not listen to me, to walk in my Torah which I have set before you, to listen to the sayings of my servants the prophets, whom I have been sending you, rising early and sending, but you have not listened;”
Yahwah uses the term My Torah. We would tend to assume it means the Torah of Moses as a whole. But in this context it is clear it really means “my instruction” and the instruction is very specific in this case it is “To walk in the sayings of my servants the prophets”. Yahwah gave an instruction to Judah, to listen to his prophets. Yes they would tell Judah message of Yahwah voice appropriate to correct the sins of Yahwah’s people at that time. So to listen to Yahwah was to walk in his instruction of that time. His instruction of that time was “To listen to the sayings of the prophets”. And the sayings of the prophets intended to turn everyone from his evil way.
The consequences of continuing to ignore the voice of the prophets were serious.
“Then I will make this house like Shiloh, and this city I will make a cure to the goyim of the earth”. The consequences then was the destruction of the temple and the vilification of the city. The city would become a curse to the goyim. But Abraham whose children the people of this city were, was commanded “You shall be a blessing”. Yahwah went on to say “I will bless them that bless thee and curse him that curseth thee” For Yahwah to say he would make the city a curse (qelalah), was to say the city will be having the opposite effect on the nations as Abraham and his children would. This is serious.
Now if we turn to the present. The covenant with Abraham still stands. Since all the Torah has not fulfilled itself the command to listen to his instructions must still stand. The command for every one to turn from his evil way must most definitely still stand. So the cultivation of the sayings of the prophets in our day must be imperative. The shepherd methods of the Holy One for teaching his prophets must be understood and applied in our day. It will be no good seeking to build in another temple if the causes of the destruction of earlier temples is still present. This why the Charismatic Church is so important. It does not focus on the letters of the Torah and the prophets and those of an Oral Torah for that matter. But it focuses on hearing the voice of Yahwah for our generation. The Consequences of man listening to his own heart and his own ideas are clear from the practices of tradition in the land of Israel. The effect of tradition as opposed to the living voice can be to hide the key of knowledge from the people and leaving the scattered and hungry, sick and dieing. The voice of the prophet is to build, comfort, console, by turning the people back to Yahwah and his way.
To obey his voice is a command before the Torah of Moses and still valid in the Torah of Mashiach the Prophet. The voice in the time of Jeremiah was addressed to Jerusalem, Judah and all the nations around about (See Jer 25)
How do we learn the voice of Yahwah?
Keep a journal of all dreams and visions received.
Ask Yahwah for a scripture to go with each dream and open the Bible at random to get the scripture.
Watch and see if certain dreams are coming to past and note when they do.
Praise and worship in groups with singing in the Spirit. When a prophet word comes record it on tape or write it down.
How do you write a prophetic word? Sometimes when the Spirit prophesies you hear the beginning phrase in your head as you are worshipping or praying in the spirit or meditating. To be ready to write you need to have a pen and paper available just in case the Spirit begins to speak. As you hear the first phrase you get your pen and paper ready. You listen. As he speaks in your head, write down what you hear. Write until the message is finished.
At least one congregation in Jerusalem, Mount Zion Fellowship, record all parts of the service. They have spontaneous praise and worship and Yahwah often speaks in this periods. They then have recorded everything he says. The prophetic word can come a number of oral ways. Usually it will come through speaking or singing. There is no rush to get the words out. Sometimes we can tend to think that the faster we speak and the more the words flows the more legitimate the prophecy. This is not necessarily the case. In sung prophecy the words come out very slowly but they carry just as much authority as the word spoken powerfully and with the sound of authority. If the Words is from Yahwah he will watch over it to fulfill it. It may be a word of comfort or consolation and can fulfill itself even as it is spoken.
How do we know it is not just our minds speaking?
Sometimes we hear a phrase in our head. But it is not the time to speak out yet. At this time we might either write the prophecy down immediately or wait for the appropriate time in the service. If we write there is no problem. However if we wait sometimes the phrase which comes out first is different from the one we had in our head earlier. Is it not then just our own mind making up the words? Well it is clear that our minds can get in the way of the prophecy and the prophecy could conceivably come out as a mixture of us and the Spirit. It is no used pretending this happens a lot. Does this mean then that we have to throw out everything that person speaks? The answer can be understood from the scripture. Paul says “Let one prophet speak and the others judge” The reasons for the judging of the prophecies is because the problems of mixed prophecy was their in the early church. This is a normal issue in the operation of the prophetic. Especially when someone is new in the practice. So to make mistakes and mix prophecy in the New Testament is a way of learning. If the other prophets judge, they will know the same experience and so will be sympathetic to the situation. The main way to see if a saying comes from Yahwah is to see if it fulfills the role of prophecy. Are others encouraged, comforted and edified? Or another example you may not be sure if it was you speaking or the Holy Spirit. This is not surprising because both the Holy Spirit lives in you and your born again spirit lives in you and both of them have a voice. You are a part of the body of Mashiach so sometimes when you speak he is speaking, even with out you being aware of it. This is the case especially with the preacher. He speaks and we believe the Holy Spirit speaks through him.
